Trail and Grass, Lawrencetown Beach

Trail and Grass, Lawrencetown Beach

Lawrencetown Beach can be a windy place, especially in the winter. I was walking along the dunes that line the beach, looking for something interesting, at least a different perspective of the beach. The grasses along the dunes are quite tall in places and their movement in the wind can be hypnotic. At this point, I liked the way the path was so dark against the light lines of the grass and how its curving line copied the curves of the blowing grass. My camera was starting to complain from the cold, so I knelt down to get a better vantage point, the waist-level finder of the camera helping to give me a lower viewpoint. A few minutes after this shot, my camera gave up, time to get going home.
